Vibration Training Seminars

Tern Technologies, Inc. offers in-plant alignment training courses designed to meet the individual needs of each customer.

Training is available in the Optalign and Rotalign laser shaft alignment systems, as well as in conventional dial indicator measurement methods. All courses are conducted in a classroom setting. Students work on a machine model in groups of two or three with classes typically limited to six students each. This ensures adequate hand-on experience for everyone in the class.

All courses include discussions of proper alignment principles and practices. Discussions of special problems or applications and procedures are tailored for each customer to meet the needs of different industries and plant installations.

Types and Effects of Soft Foot

Alignment Maintenance Practices

Indicator Bracket Sag

Special Applications and discussions of Multiple Case Train Alignments

Optalign and Rotalign training includes a review of the systems components and operational features.

Laser exercises include horizontal and vertical realignments with and without targets and tolerances and troubleshooting various soft foot cases.

Discussion and exercises with vertical flange mounted machines may be added if the customer desires.
